When we’re performing gigs we’re lucky if we get offered a cup of tea or coffee and possibly a few biscuits. Last week we had the best gig ever, we enjoyed an Afternoon Tea.
The gig was for the Stafford Knot Rotary Club who host an annual meal for pensioners from the local area. We were the “warm up act”, performing some songs before their meal. Unfortunately it turned out that some of the pensioners were unable to attend the event. However, as there were a number of empty places we were invited to join them at their Afternoon Tea. We were able to enjoy a fine selection of sandwiches, cakes and also scones with jam and cream. It was definitely the best catering arrangement at any gig. I hope we go back again next year.
